Chris Jasper - Music Director/Composer

Chris Jasper is the Music Director for GoldenQuest Productions and Co-Composer of the soundtrack for Lost in Time: The Legend of Samorrah. He studied music composition at Juilliard School of Music, received a BFA in music composition from C.W. Post College, and a J.D. degree from Concord University School of Law.

Chris Jasper is a former member of the Isley Brothers (1973-1983) and  Isley-Jasper-Isley (1984-1987) where he was primarily responsible for writing, arranging and producing the music for the two groups during this time. His arrangements and instrumentation as a classically-trained musician, and his expertise on the keyboards and synthesizers are the foundation of the legendary “Isley Brothers Sound.” In 1988, Chris embarked on a solo recording career, having released 14 solo albums to date.

Chris Jasper has earned numerous gold and platinum records and other prestigious awards. In 1992, he was inducted into the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME and, in 2014, received a GRAMMY LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. In 2015, Chris received the distinctive German Record Critics Lifetime Achievement Award ("Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik") and, in 2016, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National R&B Hall of Fame.

Chris Jasper is the President of Gold City Music, a New York based record and music publishing company and affiliate of GoldenQuest Productions.
